Schedule: Ideally one week at a time, Monday through Sunday

Clinical Responsibilities- Pediatric surgical consultations and inpatient care
- Rounding and admissions
- Elective and emergency surgical procedures
- Neonatal and congenital surgical conditions
- Gastrointestinal procedures
- Soft tissue and skin lesion procedures
- Trauma-related surgical care
- 24/7 emergency pediatric surgical coverage
Patient Volume & Facility- Average 1 5 patients per day
- 390-bed hospital
- Patient population includes infants, children, adolescents, and young adults
- Solo coverage
Additional Schedule Details
- During regular coverage weeks, the facility would also prefer clinic and elective OR availability.
- Clinic typically runs 10 AM 12 PM and 1 PM 3 PM (4 hours total).
Requirements- Active Oregon medical license in hand at the time of presentation
- Board certification/eligibility requirements to be confirmed
- BLS and ACLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Pediatric Surgery case logs covering the previous 24 months
- Recent clinical experience representative of the requested privileges
Credentialing Requirements- Urgent/fast-track credentialing: approximately days
- Must be available to complete the pre-application, credentialing application, HireRight screening, and other required documentation promptly.
- Ability to respond quickly throughout the credentialing process is essential.
