JOB DESCRIPTION: Children's hospital located in coastal Texas is seeking a Pediatric Nephrologist to join a robust program. The Division provides a full range of clinical services including living and deceased donor transplantation, acute and chronic hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, plasmapheresis, and CRRT. We own and operate the only freestanding pediatric hemodialysis units in South Texas, with both locations being supported by a team of experienced dialysis nurses, and dedicated dietitians, social workers, and child life services.
HOSPITAL: A nearly 200-bed pediatric tertiary care center with more than 30 medical and surgical specialties offering care throughout south Texas, including Corpus Christi, the Rio Grande Valley, Victoria, and Laredo. Through the vision and generosity of its founder, we opened in 1953, becoming the first free-standing children's hospital in South Texas. We also have south Texas' first emergency room created exclusively for children.
