Ortho/Hand Surgeon Sought in northeastern Kentucky
  • A 465-bed regional referral center in Northeastern Kentucky is offering an outstanding opportunity for a board eligible/certified Orthopedic Surgeon with a Hand Surgery fellowship to join their Orthopedic Surgery group.
  • Call is shared six other Orthopedic Surgeons in their hospital-employed practice
  • The incoming physician will earn a competitive salary guarantee, plus productivity bonuses based on wRVUs and quality/customer bonuses
  • They provide excellent benefits, including health, vision, dental, life and disability insurance, paid malpractice, six weeks vacation and a week off for CME (plus a $5,000 CME allowance)
  • A signing bonus and student loan repayment are available as well.
  • They are part of the University of Kentucky Health system. They own 40+ primary care clinics in outlying areas of Kentucky and Ohio which refer patients from a catchment area of about 750,000 people to their main campus for testing and treatment.
  • Their Medical Staff welcomes specialists from around the world, with more than 30 countries represented on the Staff. As a cap-exempt institution, they
  • welcome H1B and J1 physicians.
  • Enjoy this small town with a population of about 25,000 people, located along the Ohio River. They have a nice, clean town with minimal traffic, a beautiful and very active performing arts theater, indoor tennis center, a large downtown park, and boutique shopping. Their Tri-State region (Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia) is renowned for safe, family-friendly communities with an excellent cost of living. They have four seasons, all of which are relatively mild. They are also a short drive to metro cities in Ohio (Cincinnati and Columbus) and Kentucky (Lexington and Louisville).
