Job Description Staff Vocational Nurse
R.L. Klein & Associates Inc. is looking for experienced Staff Vocational Nurses to provide professional nursing support and patient care services at healthcare facilities across California. Candidates should have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 24 months of LVN experience within the last 3 years in a public or private institution providing direct patient care.
- Valid and current California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Responsibilities:
- Deliver routine nursing services and patient care according to established medical procedures.
- Assist patients with personal hygiene and basic healthcare needs.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Monitor vital signs and observe changes in patient health.
- Report significant medical findings to supervising RNs and Physicians.
- Assist with diagnostic examinations and routine clinical procedures.
- Maintain accurate nursing notes and patient medical records.
- Provide patient education regarding medication and general health practices.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to support continuity of care.
- Follow infection control, safety, and healthcare facility policies.
