Lead Therapist Requirements & Responsibilities:
Graduate of an accredited program in Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist Assistant
Licensed and in good standing in the state of practice.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
Deliver skilled therapy services within the scope of licensure (COTA, PTA) in accordance with physician orders and individualized plans of care
Assist the DOR or RVP with daily therapy operations, acting as the point of contact in their absence.
Collaborate on clinical program development to meet patient needs and facility goals.
Foster positive working relationships with facility nursing, administration, and interdisciplinary team (IDT) members.
