Wound, Burn and Ostomy Physician Assistant

A New Jersey-based health services system is seeking a licenseD Physician Assistant (PA) to join their inpatient surgical services team in Newark.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday

• Hours: 7am to 4pm

• Setting: Inpatient hospital

Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient wound consultations and follow-up rounds

• Perform wound debridement at the bedside and in the operating room

• Apply negative pressure wound therapy, including wound vacs

• Prepare patients for operative wound debridement and coordinate related care

• Collaborate with the surgical team on treatment plans, wound management, and clinical documentation in Epic

Qualifications:

• NJS Physician Assistant (PA) license

• Current, relevant wound care experience as a Physician Assistant (PA)

• Active Wound care certification

• Experience with wound debridement and negative pressure wound therapy

• Ability to work collaboratively in an inpatient surgical setting
