Job Description:
A reputable construction company based in Sayreville, NJ is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This role involves maintaining and repairing diesel-powered equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation across our job sites.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and heavy construction equipment
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative service
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
• Maintain accurate service records
• Ensure equipment meets safety and operational standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience (construction equipment preferred)
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus)
• Own tools preferred
