About the Opportunity
Liberty Tax in Tallahassee is seeking motivated individuals interested in learning tax preparation and exploring seasonal employment opportunities for the upcoming 2027 tax season.
Our tax school introduces participants to the fundamentals of individual income tax preparation, tax forms, filing requirements, tax credits, deductions, and professional client service.
What You'll Learn:
Fundamentals of federal income tax preparation
Understanding W-2s, 1099s, deductions, and tax credits
Tax preparation software and filing procedures
Client communication and confidentiality
Professional standards and tax office operations
Who Should Apply:
College students studying accounting, finance, business, or related fields
Individuals interested in tax preparation or financial services

Potential Employment Opportunities
Individuals who successfully complete training may be considered for seasonal tax preparer positions during the 2027 tax season. Completion of training does not guarantee employment.
Qualifications:
No prior tax preparation experience required

Availability for in-person training in Tallahassee
