Go Local Promotions, Inc., a leading experiential marketing, retail fabrication, and visual installations agency, is looking for an experienced Visual Graphics Installer to join our growing New York operations team.
We're seeking a hands-on, resourceful professional with strong experience in vinyl and graphics installation, ideally with a background in print production, signage, or large-format graphics.
Most assignments take place at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), with occasional projects throughout the NYC metro area, including Newark Liberty International Airport and other New Jersey locations.
This is a part-time, on-call W-2 position with the potential to grow into steady part-time or full-time employment as our operations expand.
Key Responsibilities
- Expert installation of vinyl graphics, wall wraps, floor graphics, window graphics, and branded signage.
- Install and replace SEG (Silicone Edge Graphics), backlit transparencies, lightbox graphics, and promotional displays.
- Perform monthly visual merchandising updates and retail fixture redressing for leading international brands.
- Assemble, install, maintain, and repair retail displays, gondolas, counters, and branded fixtures.
- Troubleshoot basic low-voltage LED lighting and perform minor fixture maintenance within applicable safety and licensing requirements.
- Inspect incoming shipments, organize materials, document installations, and submit detailed photos and reports.
- Coordinate with our production, design, and installations teams to ensure quality execution.
- Drive the company van to transport materials, pick up supplies, and support installations across New York and New Jersey.
- Assist with warehouse organization, inventory management, and preparation for upcoming projects.
- Support and potentially help lead additional installers as our New York operations grow.
Required Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience installing vinyl graphics, signage, or large-format printed materials.
- Strong knowledge of installation techniques, tools, surface preparation, alignment, and finishing.
- Ability to work independently, troubleshoot on-site challenges, and deliver clean, professional results.
- Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company vehicle insurance requirements.
- Availability for late-night, overnight, early-morning, weekend, and occasional short-notice assignments.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between assigned project locations.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and professional conduct.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to meet applicable airport security and badging requirements.
Highly Preferred
- Previous experience working in a print shop, signage company, or large-format production environment.
- Experience installing SEG graphics, lightbox transparencies, floor graphics, and retail displays.
- Basic knowledge of low-voltage LED systems, electrical troubleshooting, and fixture maintenance.
- Experience with fabrication, carpentry, assembly, or general retail fixture repairs.
- Previous experience working in airports, duty-free stores, or luxury retail environments.
- Ability to supervise or train additional installers as the team expands.
- Candidates based near JFK Airport, Queens, Brooklyn, or Northern New Jersey are especially encouraged to apply.
