We are seeking an experienced Commercial Title Insurance Underwriter with comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of New York title insurance, including residential, commercial, and multi-site transactions. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage complex commercial transactions, work effectively with sophisticated clients, and navigate the title underwriting and clearance process from start to finish. Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing title searches, abstracts, surveys, and related documentation; identifying and resolving title issues; evaluating risks and determining appropriate requirements for title clearance; and preparing or reviewing title commitments, policies, and endorsements. The candidate must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, lenders, surveyors, and other parties to a transaction. A professional, courteous, and client-focused approach, along with the ability to manage multiple transactions and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, is essential.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the title insurance industry.
Compensation
Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, qualifications, and relevant experience. The final compensation offered will reflect these considerations.
This is a full time in-person position.
