Submittal Coordinator

Berry & Clay is hiring a Submittal Coordinator to work with our project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and design teams on school construction projects across Texas.

This person will be responsible for keeping submittals moving-from identifying what's required in the plans and specifications through review, approval, and distribution to the field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain submittal logs for assigned projects.
• Request shop drawings, product data, and samples from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review packages for completeness before sending them to the architect and engineers.
• Track outstanding reviews, comments, revisions, and resubmittals.
• Follow up with subcontractors and design teams to keep approvals on schedule.
• Distribute approved submittals to project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors.
• Identify long-lead items and bring potential delays to the project manager's attention.
• Maintain submittal records in Fieldwire.

Qualifications

• Experience with construction submittals or commercial construction project administration.
• Ability to read plans and specifications.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines across multiple projects.
• Experience with Fieldwire is a plus.
