About the Job
Airglo Cleaning Solutions is growing our residential cleaning team in Colorado Springs. We call this position a Residential Cleaning Care Specialist, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in doing good work and being someone their team can count on.
Professional cleaning experience isn't required. We'll teach you how we clean, how to use our products and equipment safely, and what we expect before you're asked to handle the work independently.
We're looking closely at whether you're dependable, willing to learn, able to take feedback, and willing to put real effort into getting better at the job.
What You'll Do
You'll work with a small team cleaning homes throughout Colorado Springs. A typical day includes kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, dusting, detail work, floors, and checking your work before the team leaves.
This is an active job. You'll spend much of the day on your feet and regularly bend, reach, move through homes, and carry cleaning supplies and equipment.
Our customers trust us inside their homes, and we take that seriously. You'll be expected to treat the people, pets, belongings, and spaces you encounter with respect and speak up when something doesn't look right or you're unsure what to do.
What We're Looking For
You'll need a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. You should be comfortable working in homes with children and pets and able to handle the physical demands of residential cleaning.
Beyond that, we're looking for someone who:
- Shows up consistently and on time
- Cares whether the work is actually done well
- Notices details
- Communicates when there's a problem
- Works well with a team
- Can take feedback and apply it because we'll spend real time teaching you the job
Previous professional cleaning experience is helpful, but it's not required.
Pay, Schedule & Training
Starting pay is $18 per hour, and all required training is paid.
You'll learn Airglo's cleaning methods, safety practices, products, tools, equipment, and how we work together in the field. You'll also get hands-on practice with experienced team members as you learn the job.
At around 30 days, we'll sit down and talk about how things are going. We'll look at your reliability, quality of work, progress, and teamwork. You'll also have a chance to tell us how things are going from your side and where you may need more help.
After successfully completing your 30-day review, your pay increases to $19 per hour.
Our residential schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, approximately 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. However, some days may run later, and occasional weekend work may be required. Hours may start below full-time while we continue filling out the residential schedule, with the opportunity to grow into more consistent hours as the schedule grows.
As people become more capable and show that they can be trusted with more responsibility, we want to give them opportunities to take it on.
What Hiring Looks Like
We'll usually start with a short phone conversation so we can learn a little about you and you can ask questions about the job.
Selected candidates will move to an in-person interview and may then be invited to a working interview or job preview before we make a final hiring decision.
Required pre-employment screening and onboarding are completed before joining the active team.
