Position Highlights: Position: Registered Nurse Location: Skokie (ability to travel to Evanston, Glenbrook and Highland Park Hospitals) Full time Hours: Availability to start between 6am and 11:30am Mon - Fri with call requirements (weeknights and weekends included) What you will do: Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit. Utilizes the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. Includes patient and family in the plan of care as appropriate. Maintains regulatory compliance in individual practice. Assumes the responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care and to make decisions based on their therapeutic relationship with the patient. Guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care. Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care. What you will need: Education: Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required. BSN preferred.
