CDL-A Team Truck Drivers - Dedicated Salt Lake City-Columbus Route
Pay: $0.80-$0.90 per truck mile Estimated $2,745.60-$3,088.80 per week per driver
DriveXpress LLC is hiring experienced CDL-A team drivers for a dedicated interstate route. We're looking for safety-focused, dependable drivers who meet our experience requirements and are committed to on-time deliveries.
Route & Equipment
- Dedicated route: Salt Lake City, UT Columbus, OH Salt Lake City, UT
- Minimum mileage: 3,424 miles per round trip
- Truck: 2026 Freightliner Cascadia with automatic transmission
- Trailer: Dedicated 53-foot dry van
- Position: Over-the-road team driving
Pay & Incentives
- $0.80-$0.90 per truck mile, split equally between two drivers
- $0.40-$0.45 per mile per driver
- Sign-on incentive available
- Safety bonus available
Sign-on incentive and safety bonus details will be discussed during the interview.
Weekly earnings example: Completing two round trips per week at 3,432 miles per trip equals 6,864 paid truck miles.
- At $0.80 per truck mile: $5,491.20 total truck pay, or $2,745.60 per driver per week.
- At $0.90 per truck mile: $6,177.60 total truck pay, or $3,088.80 per driver per week.
These figures are estimates, not guaranteed earnings. Actual pay depends on completed trips, paid mileage, and the applicable per-mile rate. Eligible bonuses and allowances may provide additional compensation.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 2 years of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer driving experience per driver. This requirement is mandatory.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- Driving record that meets applicable regulatory and company safety requirements.
- Ability to provide an official three-year state Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Registered in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and willing to provide the required consent for a pre-employment query.
- Willingness and ability to work as part of a team on the dedicated interstate route.
- Commitment to safe driving practices, dependable teamwork, and on-time deliveries.
