Class A Driver

The Class A Driver will operate tractor-trailer combinations to transport dry van and refrigerated freight on local, regional, and dedicated customer routes. Reporting to the dispatch manager, this position follows a home-daily schedule while prioritizing safe, compliant, and dependable service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer equipment before and after trips.
• Transport dry van and refrigerated freight on assigned routes.
• Secure cargo in accordance with safety requirements.
• Complete delivery documentation accurately.
• Maintain compliance with hours-of-service regulations and electronic logging requirements.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues.
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries.
• Follow all applicable safety and operational procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial truck driving experience.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Knowledge of electronic logging devices and hours-of-service regulations.
• Experience with pre-trip inspections and cargo securement.
• Proficiency with navigation systems.
• Strong safety compliance, time management, and customer service skills.
