We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Soldering Technicians to join our high-volume production team. This role is responsible for installing, removing, inspecting, and reworking electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) while maintaining strict quality and productivity standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on soldering experience, basic electronics knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced technical environment. Pay is based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and remove through-hole and surface-mount components on PCBs using soldering irons, desoldering tools, and hot air rework stations.
- Perform PCB assembly, rework, and component replacement according to work instructions, IPC standards, and company quality requirements.
- Inspect solder joints and completed assemblies for defects, including cold joints, solder bridges, and lifted pads, and perform necessary corrections.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and verification using digital multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Perform continuity, resistance, voltage, and diode testing and accurately document findings.
- Maintain detailed repair and production records using company software systems.
- Follow ESD procedures, safety guidelines, and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
- Support production goals by assisting with products and projects outside of assigned departments when needed.
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a soldering, electronics assembly, or technical repair environment.
- Experience installing and removing both surface-mount (SMT) and through-hole components.
Required Skills
- Proficient soldering and desoldering skills, including fine-pitch surface-mount work.
- Working knowledge of digital multimeters and basic electronic testing.
- Understanding of electronic components, polarity, schematics, and PCB markings.
