Orthodontist ( Days/Month) Kokomo, IN
A well-established orthodontic practice in Kokomo, IN, is seeking a skilled Orthodontist to step into a high-production, dynamic clinical role starting ASAP for a 3-month assignment with options to extend or transition to permanent placement. This position offers a vibrant patient blend serving children, adolescents, and adults with strong daily production support.
The clinician will be fully supported by a dedicated team including 1 Practice Manager, 2 Front Office Staff, 4 Dental Assistants/Clinic Staff, 1 Lab Technician, and 1 Treatment Coordinator to ensure seamless daily patient flow.
The Role:
- Location: Kokomo, IN 46902
- Schedule: days per month (days of the week vary; flexible scheduling options)
- Hours: Patient hours 8:30 AM 4:30 PM (Lunch break: 12:00 PM 1:00 PM)
- Patient Volume: Up to 60 patients per day (4 5 new starts expected daily; caseload consists of 42% adults, 36% children under 13, and 21% adolescents under 18)
- Clinical Scope: Comprehensive orthodontic care including consultations, new patient exams, phase 1 and full-phase treatments, fixed appliances, Invisalign, bonding/debonding, adjustments, refinements, retainer checks, and emergency care
- Tech Stack: iTero scanners, digital x-rays, and DentalMonitoring (DM)
- Preferred Skills: Proficiency across full-phase orthodontics, Phase 1 treatments, clear aligners (Invisalign), and fixed appliances
- Compensation: Competitive pay rate + comprehensive malpractice insurance coverage (local candidates preferred; travel and lodging reimbursement available up to a weekly limit for non-local providers)
