Welder/Fabricator. Please read on! Located in Carmel, New York, we are a leading manufacturer of aerospace/aviation test equipment. We have been in business for over 40 years and have built up an impressive clientele - Boeing, General Electric, Honeywell, the US Navy and Air Force (just to name a few!) We specialize in building custom test equipment and have complete facilities for all phases of design and manufacture (over 21,000 square feet!). We have experienced continued growth and have plans for future extensions so we are thrilled to add talented, hard-working Metal Fabricator to our team.

What You Will Be Doing includes, but not limited to - Assemble steel, stainless steel sheet metal cabinets from the ground up using welders to tack until all squared up, weld complete and grind for finished edges.
- Drill, Tap Holes for screws, bolts
- Fabrication of tube structural, sheet metal brackets, welding metal tubing/pipe joints all on a prototype basics.
- Structural welding of cabinet frame work
- Setup and use GMAW and GTAW welding equipment
- Layout holes for panels
- Use hand tools, power tools, machines and equipment.
What You Need for this Position Good communication and decision making skills Mechanical/organizational skills
Knowledge in welding Stainless Steel, Steel
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Ability to lift over 50lbs safely
Skilled in cutting and fabricating metal
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
High school diploma or equivalent, Trade school degree or certificate is a plus
Must have basic fabrication tools
