The Production Welder performs welding operations to assemble and fabricate metal components according to specifications, safety standards, and production requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret blueprints, work orders, and welding instructions.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment and related tools.
  • Weld, assemble, and fabricate metal components to required specifications.
  • Inspect welds and finished work for quality, accuracy, and defects.
  • Prepare materials by cutting, fitting, grinding, and positioning components.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance or safety issues.
