Responsibilities
- Ensure process and product conformity to meet customer requirements while adhering to established QMS
- Assist with calibration and preventive maintenance programs
- Maintain documented quality records (i.e., inspection records, first article inspection, nonconforming material records) on company database system
- Inspect Incoming Materials received from vendors for approval, rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
- Inspect First Article items; communicating required adjustments to production department supervisors before final approval
- Inspect Finished Products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work
- Document inspection results by completing written reports and logs and by entering information into computer system database and software
Qualifications:
- At least three years previous experience in quality inspector position
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, written work instructions, blueprints, diagrams
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 Quality System p
- Use precision measuring instruments and test equipment
- Good computer skills
Monday through Friday -7am - 3:30pm
The rate of pay is up to $23.00 an hour based on experience
