About the Position TransForce is seeking a local CDL A truck driver for a delivery position in Lafayette, Indiana. This role offers local delivery routes with no-touch, drop-and-hook freight.
Pay & Schedule - Minimum weekly pay: $1,385
- Estimated weekly gross: $1,500
- Shift: Typically 2nd or 3rd shift
Job Details - Route type: Local delivery, typically to Princeton and Georgetown. Some MI runs.
- Freight: Auto parts.
- Handling: No-touch freight, drop & hook.
Key Responsibilities - Operate a CDL Class A truck on local delivery routes.
- Perform drop-and-hook operations as assigned.
- Various runs- head north to make vendor pickups, or relay the second leg south to the manufacturing plant.
- Follow all applicable transportation and safety regulations.
Minimum Requirements - CDL Class A license.
- 9+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
