Opportunity:Physician - General Surgery
Job Details:- Perform elective and emergency general surgery procedures
- Provide surgical call coverage, rounding, and inpatient consultations
- Evaluate and manage acute surgical cases presenting to the Emergency Department
- Deliver comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative surgical care
- Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the Epic EHR system
- Provide daytime coverage, weeknight, weekend, and holiday call availability based on departmental need
- Work on a per-diem, as-needed basis with flexible scheduling
- Must hold a Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
- Must have successfully completed an accredited General Surgery Residency program
- Must hold a current, unrestricted Medical License in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery (ABMS or AOA) required
- Active Federal DEA and MCSR registrations required
Compensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
