SUPERINTENDENT

POSITION OVERVIEW
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Field-based role (job sites in South Florida)
- Reports to the Operations Manager
- Work hard, be safe, and have fun
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities from foundation to roof, in accordance with project blueprints and specifications.
- Coordinate daily with GCs, vendors, and site manpower.
- Plan and coordinate with the Area and/or Labor Manager for all daily activities according to the work schedule.
- Prepare daily reports, including daily photos of work in progress.
- Plan and monitor all work activities and provide 2-week look-ahead schedules.
- Perform quality control and safety checks; enforce all project safety standards and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Coordinate jobsite mobilization and demobilization.
- Review drawings and project specifications; submit RFIs for review.
- Operate equipment such as lull, excavator, bobcat, and man lift.
- Provide on-site direction and resolve field issues as they arise.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years' experience in shell construction.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Computer proficiency (email, daily reporting, scheduling).
- Ability to complete tasks, meet expectations, collaborate, and problem-solve.
- Ability to make decisions and lead teams on-site.
- Valid driver's license.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience with South Florida building codes and inspection processes.
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
EDUCATION
- No formal degree required; strong work ethic and relevant experience are most important.
