Associate Field Service Engineer

Position: Field Service Engineer

Location: Boise, ID

Duration: Ongoing contracts with merit increases every year

Schedule: M- F 8:00 - 5:00

Travel: Must be available to travel as needed, - Per Diem: $444/wk

Must Haves:

• 2 years of experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, or installing equipment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to work overtime and travel to other sites on an as needed basis

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join a leading equipment manufacturer within the semiconductor industry. This Engineer will be apart of the tool install team responsible for taking equipment from freight to functioning. This includes laying out all of the components to ensure everything that is required arrived to the client. Following standard operating procedures to ensure that the components are put together correctly. This individual will thrive in a team environment as they'll work alongside other tenured Engineers in order to ensure the tool becomes operable within the time allotted. This individual will primarily be supporting their home site however this role will transition to a traveling position where they will need to be able to travel across the nation to support other client sites if their home base slows down.
