Position Overview
We are seeking a Pre-School / Pre-K Teacher who is energetic, dependable, and passionate about early childhood education. The ideal candidate understands how to balance structured academic instruction with play-based learning and social-emotional development.
This role requires strong classroom leadership, organization, and the ability to maintain a warm, engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Implement daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
Prepare children for kindergarten readiness milestones
Maintain consistent classroom management and routines
Conduct ongoing child assessments and developmental observations
Maintain compliance with Minnesota DHS licensing standards
Build strong, professional relationships with parents
Ensure classroom cleanliness, safety, and organization
Collaborate with leadership and support staff
Qualifications
Must meet Minnesota DHS Teacher qualifications
CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
Previous Pre-K or preschool classroom experience strongly preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage a classroom with confidence and positivity
CPR/First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain)
