Taylor Upstate Rochester, New York $20-$40 per hour Full-Time About the position Taylor Upstate is seeking a dependable field service technician to maintain and repair commercial refrigeration, soft-serve ice cream equipment, and restaurant cooking equipment for independent businesses and national restaurant customers in the Rochester area. Responsibilities • Troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration and foodservice equipment. • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration failures. • Complete accurate service reports and communicate professionally with customers. • Learn specialized equipment through manufacturer-specific training. • Travel to customer sites in the assigned service territory. Qualifications • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant field service or HVAC/R experience. • Working knowledge of electrical testing, wiring diagrams, and mechanical troubleshooting. • EPA Section 608 certification required for work involving regulated refrigerants; otherwise preferred at hire. • Valid driver's license and ability to work independently. • Commercial service experience preferred; Taylor machine experience is a plus, not a requirement.
