Some of the day-to-day activities and responsibilities include:
- Utilizing great internal and external customer communication
- Implementing problem solving, organizing, and preparedness skills
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals and other specifications to determine service, repair, and preventative maintenance procedures
- Explain and provide detailed system capabilities and operational instructions to customers
- Ensure on-time arrival to daily customer appointments, check-in & check-out procedures
- Place a high value on quality of workmanship, attention to detail and safe work practices for self and team
- Occasional availability for after hours, weekend, and holiday service response
- Travel as necessary that may require overnight stays (not typical)
Qualifications
- Current valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Submit to a criminal history check and obtain clearance from the state based on the state requirements
- Place a high value on quality of workmanship, attention to detail and safe work practices for self and others
- Superior customer service skills
- High sense of personal accountability
- EPA 608 refrigerant license
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office, email and networking
- Self-motivated
- Knowledge of HVAC Equipment, with a minimum of 5 years' experience
- Strong ability to diagnose equipment and determine if repair and maintenance work is needed or not; and ability to keep records of work done, etc.
- Experience and troubleshooting skills with BMS systems is a plus
Physical Requirements
- o Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- o Sitting, bending, and kneeling
- o Occasional work in confined spaces (crawl spaces & attic spaces)
- o Ability to climb ladders and perform job duties at required heights
