Healthcare Construction Superintendent

Compensation: $90,000-$110,000 annually, including benefits

Vera Contractors is seeking a Healthcare Construction Superintendent to join our team in the Tampa Bay area. We specialize in healthcare construction and renovation projects throughout the region.

We prefer candidates with commercial construction and healthcare experience; however, we are willing to train the right person who has a strong construction background, good leadership skills, and a desire to learn healthcare construction.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day construction activities in the field.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and deliveries.
• Maintain project schedules and communicate upcoming requirements.
• Ensure work complies with plans, specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Coordinate work within active healthcare facilities while minimizing disruption to hospital operations.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsites.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, owners, facility representatives, and subcontractors.
• Assist with inspections, punch lists, project closeout, and turnover.

Qualifications

• Commercial construction experience preferred.
• Healthcare/hospital construction experience is a plus.
• Superintendent or field leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, professional, and willing to learn.
• Ability to work effectively in occupied and sensitive healthcare environments.

Compensation

$90,000-$110,000 total annual compensation, including benefits, depending on experience and qualifications.

Vera Contractors is looking for someone interested in becoming a long-term member of our team. Experienced healthcare superintendents are preferred, but we will train and develop the "right candidate".
