Job description:Shift Details:You would be on the tour for 2 days which includes around 12 hours of work and then 10 hours of reset followed by another 12 hours of work. You would be taking the 10 hours reset in the sleeper cab. At the end of the 2 days, you would return to the homeyard you started from.What you'll need working for Amazon Freight Partner:
- Drivers must be of at least 21 years of age or above for insurance purposes
- Have a valid Florida Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
- Drivers must have recent 1.5+ years of CDL - Class A driving experience
- Flexible availability needed as hiring for various shifts
- Must successfully pass DOT Physical
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
- No current CDL suspension or revocation with clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and good DAC Report
- Must be able to use handheld technology and smart phone applications such as GPSWhy you should work with an Amazon Freight Partner (AFP):
- Full-time position
- No touch freight-drop and hook loads
- You can have 2 shifts per week. We have opportunities for additional shifts and overtime with overtime pay
- You can be home for 3 consecutive days per week after your week's shifts are over
