Traditional Internal Medicine - Southern Illinois
- Hospital employed practice is seeking a BC/BE Internist to join their team
- Base salary: 300K with 2-year guarantee
- 20-bed critical access hospital with 4 physicians and several APPs
- See an average of 8-12 patients per day on the acute floor, swing bed patients, and patient observation
- Shared call every 4th weekend for acute care rounding plus weekly call for unassigned admissions
- Monday - Friday schedule
- Primary care patients seen in Family Medical Center after rounds (typically 1 hour or less)
- Provide orders to APP who does all notifications of orders to ancillary departments and to nurses. APPs also do H&P, discharge orders, and charts
- EMR
