Locums - Hickory, North Carolina, Pulmonary Critical Care OpeningStart Date: December 30, 2026 Schedule & Shift Details
  • Coverage Dates: December 30, 2026 - January 3, 2027
  • 7:00 AM-7:00 PM
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Daily in-house call
  • Required call response time: Within 25 minutes
Position Details
  • Standard pulmonary unit consultations and in-house call coverage.
  • Approximately 8-11 patients seen, including admissions.
  • 5-8 patients per shift.
  • 16-bed department.
  • Hospital is stroke certified.
  • Coverage Need: Adding providers to the pool for ongoing coverage needs.
Required Qualifications
  • Active North Carolina medical license.
  • Active DEA.
  • BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification.
Additional Details
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Trauma Level: Pediatric Level II
