Our client's expertise is in mechanical processes which includes process piping, welding, fire protection, HVAC, and plumbing. As a 6G Certified Pipe Welder, you will play a pivotal role in the fabrication and installation of critical piping systems for various projects. You will be responsible for welding pipes in a 6G position, ensuring that the work meets industry standards for quality and safety. Qualified candidates would have experience with reading blue prints, pipe welding, grooving, and threading. Responsibilities: -Perform pipe welding using the 6G welding position on various materials, while adhering to all safety protocols and quality standards. -Stainless Steel Tig Welding -Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and welding procedures to ensure accurate and precise welding. -Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, fitting, and cleaning, to ensure optimal joint integrity. -Inspect completed welds visually and using non-destructive testing (NDT) methods to verify quality and conformance to specifications. -Maintain and care for welding equipment and tools, reporting any malfunctions or defects promptly. -Strictly adhere to safety regulations and procedures, promoting a culture of safety in the workplace. -Work closely with other team members, including pipefitters and supervisors, to ensure efficient project completion. -Maintain accurate records of work performed, including welding logs and quality control documentation. -Stay updated on industry trends, welding techniques, and equipment advancements to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
