Endocrinology Physician - Champaign, Illinois

Seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Endocrinologist
Join an established Endocrinology team in Champaign, Illinois
Team includes 4 board-certified Endocrinologists and 8 Advanced Practice Providers
Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
1:5 call schedule
Call includes hospital rounding for non-diabetes endocrine consults
No primary care patients
Division includes Nutrition Services and a Diabetic Education Program
Nutrition Services is recognized by the American Diabetes Association Education Recognition Program
Several staff members are Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists
Opportunity for academic and/or research involvement

Candidate Requirements

Comfortable participating in hospital rounding for non-diabetes endocrine consults
Ability to collaborate with physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Nutrition Services, and diabetes education staff
Commitment to patient-centered care and multidisciplinary clinical support
