What You ll Do
- Provide inpatient obstetrics and gynecology coverage during scheduled 24-hour shifts.
- Deliver antepartum and postpartum care.
- Manage labor and delivery services.
- Perform routine vaginal deliveries.
- Perform cesarean sections.
- Provide care for newborns in coordination with the care team.
- Collaborate with RNs, OB/GYN providers, NNPs, and available CRNA/anesthesia support.
- Complete clinical documentation in Epic.
What You Need
Required - Board certification in Obstetrics/Gynecology, or eligibility for board certification.
- Wisconsin medical license or accepted IMLC/Compact licensure.
- BLS certification.
- NRP certification.
- Ability to provide 24-hour call coverage.
Preferred - 1 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in inpatient obstetrics and gynecology.
About the Assignment
This assignment is based at a small, low-volume community hospital serving female patients and newborns. The inpatient obstetrics and gynecology team includes RNs, OB/GYN providers, and NNPs, with CRNA/anesthesia support when available. Scheduled coverage dates include January 1 3, January , February , March , and March , 2027.
