What You ll Do
- Provide inpatient interventional cardiology coverage and respond to hospital cardiology calls.
- Perform balloon angioplasties and coronary angioplasty procedures.
- Perform percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
- Conduct heart catheterizations and coronary angiograms.
- Provide general cardiology consultations as needed.
- Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests, including nuclear stress tests.
- Provide care for an adult patient population using the Epic Cupid documentation system.
What You Need
Required: - Interventional cardiology expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to perform balloon angioplasty, coronary angioplasty, PCI, heart catheterization, and coronary angiography.
- Ability to provide inpatient and EMTALA call coverage.
- Ability to interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
- Availability for 3 7 days per month during the listed coverage periods.
Preferred: - Experience providing general cardiology consultations in an inpatient setting.
- Experience with Epic Cupid.
About the Assignment
You ll support a leading facility in Paducah, Kentucky, as part of an inpatient cardiology coverage team serving adult patients. Other interventional cardiologists will be present during coverage, providing a collaborative clinical environment.
