What You ll Do
- Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage for admitted patients.
- Evaluate and admit patients from the emergency department.
- Conduct rounds and provide ongoing care for hospitalist-service patients.
- Manage patients across medical/surgical and ICU settings.
- Provide hospitalist service call coverage.
- Consult for obstetric patients when needed.
- Collaborate with available support staff, including an FNP Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM 5:00 PM.
- Document patient care using the Meditech EMR.
What You Need
Required - Qualifications and credentials appropriate for inpatient hospitalist practice.
- Availability for the listed day shifts and overnight call coverage.
- Ability to complete credentialing requirements promptly.
Preferred - Experience providing inpatient hospitalist coverage.
- Availability for one or more listed coverage blocks.
About the Assignment
This inpatient assignment provides continuous hospitalist coverage for a leading facility in Williston, North Dakota. The coverage schedule includes day shifts, overnight call, admissions from the emergency department, rounds, and care for admitted patients. Preferred lodging is available across the street from the hospital.
