JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active PA license, DEA
  • Board: BC/BE in Cardiac Surgery
  • DEA: Required
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage for urgent cases, including emergency surgeries from the cath lab.
  • Perform rounding on post-operative patients in the ICU and step-down units.
  • Manage weekend call duties (Friday 12pm - Monday 7am).
  • Consult with referring physicians and coordinate patient care.
  • Ensure appropriate patient management from ICU to discharge.
