JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) preferred
  • Licenses: Active TX License, Active DEA with TX address
  • DEA / CDS: Active DEA with schedules II-V required
  • Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS, NRP required
  • Experience: Current ED practice required; EM experience required
  • Other Qualifications: CME past 2 years, case logs past 24 months
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients in the ED during 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a).
  • Manage acute medical conditions and trauma, collaborating with available specialists.
  • Supervise and coordinate care with Advanced Practice Providers (NPs).
  • Participate in resuscitation and emergency procedures as needed.
  • Document patient encounters accurately in Cerner EMR.
