The Role:

• Requirements: Provider is able to offer 2 weeks (at minimum) per month consistently, weeknight and weekend beeper call required, and agreeable to 5 x 10 hour shifts.
• Specific Skills Needed: Provider must be able to perform nerve and regional anesthetic blocks.

• • Number of Anesthetizing rooms?: 8
• • What is the Anesthetists staffing model?: supervision
• • Specific skills are required?: Regional Anesthetic blocks & nerve blocks
• • Cases include: Lots of eyes, ortho, total joints (lots), urology, general, podiatry, endo, vascular, lungs (not too often), blocks, healthy peds (ENT). No hearts, heads, trauma, or OB.
• o Blocks done 100% by the physicians
• • Is there a backup pager?: No, on weekdays, No, on weekends
• • Is there CRNA support for the in house pager?: Yes, on weekdays, Yes, on weekends
• • Acceptable Board Certifications ABA/AOBA
