Job/Practice Description: ICU Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Full-time position providing ICU coverage
- Join a collaborative intensivist team caring for critically ill patients
- Flexible scheduling options include:
- 14 twelve-hour shifts per 28-day schedule block (182 shifts annually)
- Seven 24-hour shifts per 28-day block
- Dedicated night shifts
- Rotating day and night shifts
- Share weekend and holiday coverage with other ICU advanced practice providers
- Perform bedside critical care procedures, including central venous catheter placement, arterial line insertion, and endotracheal intubation
- Manage complex critical care cases requiring sound clinical judgment and timely decision-making
- Work closely with physicians and other members of the critical care team to deliver high-quality patient care
Requirements: - Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Minimum of two years of ICU or critical care experience required
- Demonstrated proficiency in bedside procedures, including central line placement, arterial line insertion, and endotracheal intubation
- Strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced ICU environment
