Surgery - Thoracic Physician

Position Overview

• Build and lead a growing thoracic surgery practice, with select adult cardiac cases
• Lung cancer, esophageal, mediastinal, chest wall and minimally invasive thoracic surgery
• Region's only dedicated heart hospital; new hybrid OR, 15 surgical suites, 3 da Vinci Xi robots
• 30-bed ICU with 24/7 in-house intensivists; established TAVR and structural heart program
• Built-in referrals from a 370+ provider medical group and a regional cancer center
• Faculty appointment available

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range $911,757 - $1,104,538 (based on experience)
• Base salary guarantee plus wRVU incentives

Requirements

• MD or DO; BE/BC in Thoracic Surgery; minimally invasive/robotic interest
• Illinois medical license and DEA (or able to obtain)
