community health Key Responsibilities- Provide visionary leadership to the Division and Institute, advancing the organizational
mission- Stabilize and grow the physician and APP workforce within the Division
- Recruit, develop, and provide oversight for section chiefs
- Partner with academic program directors to develop structured teaching rotations for medical
students, residents, fellows, and other learners- Foster a culture of teaching engagement, accountability, and collaboration
- Serve as physician champion for clinical integration across the continuum of care
- Oversee and support hospital call schedules to ensure seamless system-wide coverage
- Collaborate with dyad director partner to optimize practice efficiency and effectiveness
- Monitor and enhance provider productivity through data-driven strategies
- Serve as a key partner in budgetary planning and fiscal management
- Promote community health initiatives for the patient population served
- Build and maintain relationships with referring physicians to support continuity of care
- Uphold and advance practice quality standards and patient experience excellence
Qualifications- MD or DO with Board Certification in Endocrinology
- 3 Äì5+ years of leadership experience
- Active medical license and active faculty status (or eligible to become faculty) at an
affiliated medical school- Experience in recruitment, retention, and oversight of clinicians, educators, and
researchers preferred- Outstanding reputation in clinical medicine
- Strong organizational, business, and financial acumen
- Demonstrated commitment to mentorship, team building, and resident education
- Effective in change management and matrixed reporting structures
