Radiology Physician

Locums Interventional Radiology Robbinsdale, MN (MN license preferred)Why This Role

• Interventional-only coverage with no diagnostic reads
• Level I trauma and thrombectomy-capable stroke center
• Multiple physicians may be considered
• Minimum two weeks per month preferred
• Temporary privileges available
Assignment Details
• Start: As soon as credentialed
• Duration: Ongoing
• Setting: Inpatient hospital-based
• Patient population: Adults only
• Weekday volume: Approximately 10 cases per day
• Weekend volume: Approximately 6 cases per day
• EMR: Epic
• No teaching or leadership responsibilities
Schedule and Call
• Onsite coverage: 8:00 AM Äì5:00 PM
• Overnight beeper call
• Call ratio: Approximately 1:2
• After-hours procedures: Approximately 1 Äì2 callbacks per week
• Weekend coverage as needed
• Minimum commitment: Ideally two weeks per month
Clinical Scope
• General interventional radiology
• Cerebral embolectomy
• Moderate sedation
• No cerebral aneurysm management required
• No diagnostic radiology reads expected
Requirements
• Board-certified or board-eligible within five years of residency completion
• Interventional Radiology fellowship training
• At least two years of clinical practice experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Active Minnesota license preferred
• Epic experience preferred
Credentialing
• Estimated timeframe: Approximately 60 days
• Temporary privileges available
