Schedule
  • Call: days per month
  • Call Shifts: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM (24 hours)
  • Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
  • Clinic Days: Monday and Wednesday (flexible)
  • OR Days: Tuesday and Thursday (flexible)
  • Non-call days consist of outpatient clinic and scheduled OR cases.
  • 3 weeks per month needed

Clinical Responsibilities
  • Full-scope general ortho pedic surgery, including trauma and elective procedures
  • Musculoskeletal trauma management at a Level II Trauma Center
  • Emergency department consultations and emergent surgical procedures
  • Inpatient rounding and postoperative care
  • Outpatient evaluations, injections, procedures, and follow-up appointments
  • Management of new and established ortho pedic patients
Qualifications
  • Experienced, full-scope Ortho pedic Surgeon
  • Orthopedic trauma experience strongly preferred
  • Active AHA BLS certification
  • Minimum of 50 ortho pedic surgical cases performed within the past 12 months
  • Proctoring required for the first five surgical cases

Additional Details
  • EMR: Epic / Dragon
  • Clinical Support: APPs available in clinic based on patient volume
  • APP Supervision: Not required
  • Credentialing: Approximately 30 days, with applications prioritized based on start date
