We are seeking a Locums Hospital MedicinePhysician to provide on-site nighttime coverage at a large tertiary carehospital in Fort Pierce, Florida. This opportunity offers a 7-on/7-off schedulein a clinically complex environment serving a diverse patient population acrossthe Treasure Coast.

Hospital MedicineCensus: 250+ patients
Patient Load: Approximately 18-22 patients per physician
Daily Admissions: 3-5 per daytime rounding physician
Consults: Approximately 0-1 per day
Facility Designations: Level II Trauma Center and Stroke Center
Patient Population: Clinically complex and socioeconomically diverse
Responsibilities Provide nighttime inpatient hospital medicinecare.
Evaluate and manage hospitalized patientswith a broad range of acute and complex medical conditions.
Coordinate patient care with daytimehospitalists, specialists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in ICU rounds in collaborationwith the Critical Care team, which serves as the primary ICU team.
Respond to clinical changes and supportcontinuity of care throughout the shift.
Maintain accurate and timely medicaldocumentation.
Requirements Board-certified or board-eligible physiciantrained in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Hospital medicine experience preferred.
Procedural skills are appreciated but notrequired.
Ventilator management and independentprocedural skills are not required.
