Housekeeper

Job Summary

As a Housekeeper, youll help keep residential spaces clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Youll handle daily cleaning and laundry, care for floors and surfaces, and communicate with clients to understand priorities. The role may also include cooking and outdoor work, depending on household needs. Your impact: Consistent cleaning and sanitation help residents enjoy a healthier, more comfortable home.

Duties

Clean and dust rooms, surfaces, and fixtures; follow established cleaning and sanitation procedures.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform floor care using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents.
Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry; prepare simple meals as requested.
Use cleaning products and equipment safely, and maintain tidy work areas.
Coordinate priorities with clients, manage time across assigned tasks, and assist with outdoor upkeep when needed.
Requirements

Experience in residential cleaning or residential housekeeping is helpful; janitorial or custodial experience is also welcome.
Knowledge of cleaning, sanitation, floor cleaning, and surface care practices.
Strong time management and customer service skills, including clear client communication.
Able to perform manual handling and heavy lifting as needed, and work on your feet during cleaning tasks.
Familiarity with cleaning detergents and equipment is preferred; housekeeping management or outdoor work experience is a plus.
