Staff Accountant ()

Our accounting firm provides a full range of tax, accounting, and auditing services. It is seeking the services of a Staff Accountant to carry out the following duties: assist with preparation and review of financial statements and accounting records including individual and business income tax returns. Review balance sheets, profit and loss statements, amortization and depreciation schedules, payroll tax filings, etc. applying knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. Conduct variance analysis and assist with account and balance reconciliations. Communicate with clients to obtain financial information, assist with monthly, quarterly, and year end closing activities, and ensure compliance with tax payment, reporting, and other tax requirements. Analyze and evaluate client accounting, financial, and related information systems to ascertain accounting needs and advise on most efficient and effective methods to ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with financial reporting requirements. Support senior accountants and managers with accounting and tax projects as needed.

Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field
