Assignment Details
• Start: January 3, 2027
• End: June 30, 2027
• Setting: Outpatient/perioperative anesthesia
• Schedule: Monday ÄìFriday coverage
• Patient volume: Approximately 2 Äì12 cases per shift
• Department: 11 beds
• Trauma designation: Level II
• EMR: Epic
• Multiple providers may be considered
Schedule
• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Shift time: 7:00 a.m. Äì5:30 p.m.
• No call
• Lunch is unpaid and requires clocking out
• Hours are not guaranteed
• Overtime requires prior administrative approval
Clinical Scope
• General anesthesia
• Orthopedic surgery
• Urology
• Ophthalmology
• Plastic surgery
• ENT
• Neurosurgery, including head and spine
• Vascular and complex vascular cases
• Podiatry
• Electrophysiology
• Endoscopy and bronchoscopy
• Pediatric, regional, thoracic, and trauma anesthesia
• ECT support
• No cardiac or obstetric cases
Preferred Skills
• Spinal anesthesia
• Epidural and regional anesthesia
• Arterial-line placement
• Ventilation management
• Acute volume and blood-pressure management
• Complex orthopedic and vascular anesthesia
• CRNA supervision experience
Requirements
• Active Pennsylvania CRNA license
• Active NBCRNA certification
• Active ACLS
• Active BLS
• Active PALS
• Experience with a broad surgical case mix
• Epic experience preferred
Credentialing
• Estimated timeframe: 60 Äì120 days
