29-bed mixed open ICU Balanced mix of clinical practice and leadership responsibilities Work alongside highly skilled physicians, APPs, nurses, and specialists Opportunity to lead quality and operational initiatives impacting patient care across the hospital Medical Director Responsibilities As Medical Director, you will play a key role in advancing critical care services by:
- Providing leadership and oversight for all full-time and part-time intensivists
- Driving quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Collaborating with hospital leadership and multidisciplinary teams
- Supporting clinical excellence and evidence-based care delivery
- Participating in strategic planning and ICU program development
- Promoting physician engagement, mentorship, and teamwork
ICU Practice Details
- 29-bed mixed open ICU
- Medical critical care
- Trauma surgery
- Neurosurgery
- Cardiac surgery
- Burn patients
- Daytime intensivist coverage
- Overnight APP support in-house
- Home call during night hours
Qualified Candidates
- Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine (all critical care training pathways considered)
- Leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication and team-building skills
- Commitment to clinical excellence and quality improvement
- Ability to work full-time schedule of 12-15 shifts monthly
