Knoxville Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to join our growing inpatient rehabilitation team in Knoxville, Tennessee. Physician Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient PM&R services and lead rehabilitation treatment plans
- Manage patients throughout their rehabilitation stay
- Coordinate care with therapists, nurses, case managers, and consulting physicians
- Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences
- Promote quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, and regulatory compliance
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Eligible for Tennessee medical licensure
- Current DEA registration or ability to obtain
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitation care
